The Passion Planner is a great option if:

-You’re on a budget. At $35, it’s one of the cheaper planners I’ve reviewed. You can also use my coupon code to save 10%: EMILY10

-You need a new planner mid-year. The Passion Planner offers undated options.

-You’re balancing work and home responsibilities. The prioritized to do list section will keep you organized with both work and personal tasks.

The Good

The Passion Planner is very structured and comprehensive, which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your style.

As a self-proclaimed time management guru, I love that this planner includes so many features that help you stay on track. There are goal planning pages, monthly reflection pages, and a box to write down your main focus for each day of the week. These features will be a big help to anyone who has trouble staying on track while working towards their goals.

I also like that this planner has blank pages in the back for taking notes. I use the blank grid pages to track the habits I’m working on each month.

The Bad

If you resist structure, then the Passion Planner is not for you. Each day is blocked out in 30 minute chunks and there are about a dozen different boxes to fill in each week. It’s got tons of structure!

The Ugly

The pages definitely have a utilitarian look to them, so if you like something pretty, you’ll either need to decorate your planner yourself, or buy something else! Here’s a peek at how I decorate my Passion Planner:

I like a mix of pretty and functional, so here are some of my favorite planner supplies:

1. Pilot Frixon Pens- Erasable pens are amazing! I can color code my schedule, but make changes when something inevitably comes up. I use these pens daily.

2. PaperMate Gel Pens- I love how these pens glide and how quickly they dry. I tend to smudge the ink on other pens, including the Pilot Frixon (above), so I like to use the PaperMate to take notes and to write down more permanent things, like monthly reflections and goals.

3. Washi Tape- I use washi tape to add some color and flair to my planner, BUT it’s also functional. I typically use block scheduling and batch my work, so I use a strip of washi tape to mark each block of work time.

4. Planner Stickers- Planner stickers are my new favorite accessory. From decorative to functional, there are a gazillion options.
